Job summary

Cranney Home Services is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our residential electrical team in Massachusetts. We offer competitive pay, year-round work, and a supportive culture that values expertise and growth.

As part of our residential focus, you will install and troubleshoot electrical systems, upgrade panels, and run new circuits. Generac experience is a plus, with a company that prioritizes safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, MVR, and pre-employment drug screen.
• OSHA 10 certification a plus.
• Experience with older residential wiring (snake wiring) preferred.
• Generac certification or generator installation experience preferred.
• Experience with HVAC controls, relays, and zone boards is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot residential electrical systems.
• Run new electrical circuits, including low-voltage wiring.
• Complete electrical panel and service upgrades.
• Perform site visits and job assessments.
• Prepare accurate material and stock lists.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Work independently and collaboratively to complete high-quality installations.
• Experience with Generac generators is a plus.

Compensation

• $35–$45 per hour, based on experience
• Weekly pay

Choose the schedule that works best for you:

• Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Tuesday–Saturday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Higher-Paying Shift)

What You'll Do

• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and local electrical codes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality workmanship
