We are seeking experienced Electrical Foremen to lead crews at the QTS Data Center construction project in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a significant project with a duration of up to 2 years, offering excellent pay, per diem, and consistent hours.

If you are a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician with leadership capabilities, we want to hear from you! We are also open to applications from individuals holding or willing to obtain an Unclassified Person (UP) registration for other roles on site.

• Foreman Pay Rate: $31.00 - $40.00 per hour (Depending on Experience and License Type)

• Per Diem: $100 per day worked

• Schedule: 50-70 hours per week

• Project Duration: Up to 2 years

• Location: QTS Data Center, Cedar Rapids, IA

Key Responsibilities (Foreman):

• Lead, manage, and train a crew of electricians and apprentices on-site.

• Plan, lay out, install, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in a data center environment.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

• Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner and compliant with NEC and local codes.

• Coordinate with other trades and project management.

• Maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation as required.

• Monitor quality control and ensure high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications & Licensing Requirements:

• For Foreman Role:

  • Valid Iowa Journeyman Electrician License (Class A or B) OR

  • Valid Iowa Master Electrician License (Class A or B)

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman, preferably on large commercial/industrial projects. Data center experience is a strong plus.

  • Strong knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
