Minnesota-based solar energy company looking for 2 full-time Journeyman electricians. The right candidates will be honest, hardworking individuals with experience in residential solar construction or a related field. Solar experience is not essential.

This position is located in Minneapolis

Our Journeyman electrician is a key member of a small, highly coordinated team. In this role you will work primarily on residential solar projects in and around the Twin Cities area. All projects are designed and approved prior to project initiation.

If you are not familiar with solar we can provide the training needed to get started in this fast-growing industry. You will also be supported by two experienced registered unlicensed electrical workers with significant solar experience. You will not be required to work on the roof.

Requirements

• A current Minnesota Journeyman electrician license and relevant work experience.

• Experience installing photovoltaic systems is but is not required

• Ability to work outdoors most of the year

• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to your job

• Desire to provide an outstanding customer experience

• Able to lift 45-65lbs

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential construction

• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently

• Understanding of NEC standards.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations.

• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure project timelines are met and safety protocols are followed.
