Job summary

Generac dealer in Bremerton, WA seeks a Journeyman Electrician to lead generator installations and manage electrical systems in homes and small businesses. You will document findings, tests, and solutions, and ensure work aligns with local codes and NEC standards.

Qualified candidates hold a WA electrical license (Residential, Journeyman, or Master) and have experience with generators, home automation, and service work. A valid driver’s license is required for local travel.

Qualifications

• Must hold O2 Electrical license in Washington (Residential, Journeyman, or Master).
• Experience installing generators, home automation, or service work.
• Experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead generator installations with electrical expertise.
• Document actions, testing results, observations, and final diagnosis for each job.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems – wiring, lighting, distribution, and controls.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent issues.
• Work from ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts in residential settings.
• Ensure all work meets Washington state codes and NEC standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead generator installations with electrical expertise
• Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems – including wiring, lighting, distribution, and controls
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to prevent future issues
• Use ladders, scaffolding, platform and lifts to work on electrical systems in residential homes
• Ensure all work meets local and state codes in Washington, as well as NEC standards

What You’ll Bring

• O2 Electrical license in Washington or above (Residential, Journeyman, or Master license)
• Proven experience with installing generators, home automation, and/or service work
• Experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
• Strong comprehension of blueprints, schematics, and documents
• Valid driver's license for local travel
