Job summary

FedEx in Memphis seeks a Journeyman Electrician to perform repair and maintenance tasks for electrical and electronic systems across FedEx facilities and equipment. A Shelby County Journeyman Electrician License is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. and six years journeyman experience, including 24 months as a FedEx Technician (Electrical) or 24 months of maintenance on similar equipment/systems.
• Shelby County Journeyman Electrician License is required.
• Willing to work odd weeks, overtime, holidays and rotating shifts; valid driver's license; able to lift 75 lbs and access equipment at various heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance tasks for all electrical and electronic FedEx facilities and equipment.
• Maintain all electrical equipment to national, state or local codes.
