Job summary

Watermark Risk Management in Arlington, VA seeks a Journeyman Data Manager to support Mission Assurance through data collection, analytics, and Palantir Foundry data workflows. This on-site role requires TS clearance and U.S. citizenship, with CONUS travel possible.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–10 years of experience, plus Palantir Foundry certification and a background in data engineering/ETL. Competitive benefits accompany the base compensation range of $100,000–$300,000.

• Background in data engineering, ETL processes, or database management preferred
• Experience working in classified data environments preferred
• Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in any field
• Palantir Foundry Data Engineer Certification (required)
• Active/current Top Secret (TS) clearance on Day 1 of performance
• U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment process support and data collection across the Mission Assurance enterprise
• Perform analytical exploitation of assessment data to identify trends, patterns, and enterprise-level insights
• Support collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis of Mission Assurance assessment data
• Perform data quality checks, validation, and consistency reviews
• Support data workflows within Government-directed enterprise data platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry)
• Additional duties as assigned

Journeyman Data Manager

In this role you will...

Security Clearance Requirements

• Active/current Top Secret (TS) clearance on Day 1 of performance
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and TS/SCI with Caveats
• U.S. Citizenship required

Other Requirements

• Ability to work 100% on-site within a Government SCIF during core duty hours
• CONUS travel may be required (coordinated with the Government at least 10 calendar days prior)
• OCONUS travel may be required (e.g., EUCOM/PACOM AOR support; coordinated at least 20 calendar days prior, with Theater Business Clearances)
• Local travel within the National Capital Region may be required
• Trip and After-Action Reports are required following each trip
• May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
• May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
• Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
• Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
• Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $100,000-300,000. Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary/hour rate, including but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, and Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
