Job summary

FNF Construction, Inc. is seeking a journeyman-level Cement Mason/Concrete Finisher. Qualified candidates have at least two years of concrete placement and finishing experience for highway and bridge projects.

You will assist form carpenters, prepare work areas, and pour and finish concrete on live, outdoor sites. Candidates must lift 60 lbs, climb ladders/scaffolding, and work near traffic and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete placement and finishing for highway/bridge projects.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs and work around live traffic and heavy machinery.
• Ability to work in outdoor, physically demanding environments and follow specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete placement, finishing, and curing for highway, bridge, and structural projects.
• Assist formwork by building, setting, aligning, and stripping forms.
• Prepare work areas by leveling, compacting, and setting grades.
• Operate hand and power finishing tools such as trowels, floats, screeds, and power trowels.
• Monitor concrete during placement for quality and adherence to specs.
• Apply finishing techniques like edging, jointing, brooming, and troweling.
• Place and finish concrete in varying weather while maintaining standards.
