Job summary

Tessera is seeking a hard working and skilled Carpenter at Fort Riley/Junction City to perform inspections, maintenance, and repair of buildings and structures. The role requires a minimum of three years of carpentry experience; Journeyman level preferred, with the ability to read blueprints and perform detailed carpentry tasks.

Typical duties include framing, finishes, and installation work, utilizing hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of Carpentry experience required.
• Journeyman level Carpenter preferred.
• Must be able to read and comprehend building specifications, blueprints, and maps.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair buildings, structures, and associated property.
• Maintenance, repair, and alteration of buildings and structures including foundations, walls, doors, windows, roofing, floors, trim, stairs, and related carpentry work.
• Assemble and secure furniture as needed; operate hand and power tools.
• Maintain service and repair records; ensure compliance with environmental protection requirements.
