Qualifications

4+ years of carpentry experience in varied disciplines
Commercial construction safety knowledge/training
Ability to follow OR-OSHA and company safety practices
Advanced ability to read and interpret building plans/drawings/specifications
Detail-oriented with analytical problem-solving
Experience using construction hand and power tools

Responsibilities

Prioritize own safety and safety of others on site
Set a safety example and address safety issues on site
Participate in job site safety meetings and discussions
Safely operate and inspect construction tools and equipment
Complete safety pre-task plans
Read and interpret building plans and specs
Accurately measure and lay out according to plans
Lead small teams of carpenters and helpers
Frame using wood/metal studs
Install reinforcement bar
Perform additional assignments as directed by Workforce Manager or Site Supervisor
