Job summary

Taylor'd Trades, Inc. in Lexington, KY is seeking a reliable Journeyman Carpenter to join our commercial construction team. This full-time, local-only role requires reading blueprints, laying out, and installing walls, doors, windows, and formwork with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, performing accurate measurements, and coordinating with foremen and other trades to maintain project schedules. Being able to work overtime and weekends when needed is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial concrete construction and carpentry.
• Ability to read tape measures and basic construction drawings.
• Knowledge of concrete form systems and finishing techniques.
• Willingness to overtime when schedules require.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
• Layout, measure, cut, fit, and install materials with accuracy.
• Construct, install, and repair walls, partitions, framing, doors, windows, and other components.
• Build and install concrete forms and formwork as required.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to maintain schedules.
