Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. in Ridgeland, MS is seeking an experienced carpenter for concrete construction projects. You will plan, lay out, and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts in accordance with plans, specs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience working as a carpenter or similar craft.
• Strong working knowledge of erection of concrete structures, lay-out and verification.
• Familiarity with forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts according to plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts.
• Erect and assemble wooden or prefabricated forms as per specifications.
• Pour, finish and patch concrete surfaces to spec; ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Coordinate with team and other crafts to maintain dimensions and project schedule.
• Follow plans and blueprints to lay out and construct structures on site.
