Job Title: Journeyman Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking journeyman carpenters with over 5 years of experience working on commercial projects who are open to traveling across the State of Michigan. The role involves both finish and rough carpentry, including trim work, cabinetry, cabinet installation, framing, and custom woodwork projects. Successful candidates will have the ability to lead crews, give direction on job sites, and interpret blueprints and measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform finish and rough carpentry work on various projects.

• Execute trim work, cabinetry, and cabinet installation.

• Engage in framing and custom woodwork projects.

• Lead and direct crews on job sites.

• Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures accurately.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in commercial carpentry projects.

• Proficiency in both finish and rough carpentry.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Midland, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
