ForceSource is looking for a Journeyperson Carpenter to join our in-person Detroit team. You will work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and collaboration with other trades to meet timelines.

The role requires experience in carpentry techniques, stucco, tile, plastering, masonry, and trim carpentry, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. A valid driver’s license may be needed depending on job sites.

• Proven experience as a carpenter with comprehensive carpentry techniques.
• Proficiency in stucco application, tile laying, plastering, masonry, and trim carpentry.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot on-site issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Perform trim carpentry tasks including molding, baseboards, and cabinetry.
• Conduct water damage restoration to restore affected areas.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to meet timelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
• Frame wood and perform painting tasks as specified.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Perform trim carpentry tasks including the installation of moldings, baseboards, and cabinetry.
• Conduct water damage restoration to restore affected areas to their original condition.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Frame wood
• Perform construction painting tasks to finish surfaces according to design specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter with a comprehensive understanding of carpentry techniques.
• Proficiency in stucco application, tile laying, plastering, masonry, and trim carpentry.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
