ForceSource is seeking a Journeyperson Carpenter to join our Iowa team. You will construct, install, and repair wood structures, perform trim carpentry, and collaborate with other trades to meet project goals.

Qualifications include proven carpentry experience, ability to read blueprints, and strong safety and teamwork mindset. The role is full-time, onsite with a daytime schedule and benefits provided.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Perform trim carpentry tasks including the installation of moldings, baseboards, and cabinetry.
• Conduct water damage restoration to restore affected areas to their original condition.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Frame wood
• Perform construction painting tasks to finish surfaces according to design specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter with a comprehensive understanding of carpentry techniques.
• Proficiency in stucco application, tile laying, plastering, masonry, and trim carpentry.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on job site locations.
