Corrugated Supplies Company in Alsip, IL is seeking an initiative-taking Steam Plant Operator to join our Powerhouse team. You will operate high-pressure steam boilers, water treatment systems, and related equipment on a rotating shift in a fast-paced industrial environment.

We offer an hourly rate of $48.54 and a benefits package including paid vacation, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer contributions, FSA, EAP, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 2-year apprentice program; Journeyman level with >4 years considered.
• Strong knowledge of high pressure steam boilers and water treatment systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate high pressure steam boilers and water treatment systems safely.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on utilities equipment.
• Manage pressure, temperatures, and flow in the steam system.
• Respond to emergencies and stabilize incidents to prevent damage.
• Oversee control operations and supervise technical personnel when needed.
