Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn is seeking a Journeyman Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to factory standards, building customer trust through quality workmanship.

The position offers a pay range of $46.65-$57.65 per flat rate hour under Union Guidelines, with paid training, manufacturer certifications, and opportunities for career advancement as part of one of the country’s largest automotive groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications in brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical systems.
• Update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep management informed of repair issues as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
