Job summary

Veracity Electric LLC has a full-time Journeyman Electrician position in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and light industrial settings.

The role requires reading blueprints, wiring layouts, and compliance with NEC and local codes. You will collaborate with project managers, mentor apprentices, document work, and maintain safety on site.

Qualifications

• Valid journeyman electrician license in Texas or ability to obtain it within required timeframe.
• Strong technical skills in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in residential and commercial environments.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and safety regulations, with a consistent focus on safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents, and to plan efficient electrical layouts.
• Proficiency with common electrical tools, test equipment, and materials handling; capability to work safely on ladders, lifts, and in varied site conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, including mentoring apprentices and coordinating with supervisors, contractors, and clients.
• Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to complete tasks independently and meet project deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• Reliable transportation to jobsites within the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and willingness to work occasional extended hours as project needs require.
