Daikin Applied in Seattle, WA seeks a skilled HVAC Journeyman to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment onsite. You will service rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and more, while guiding apprentice technicians through hands-on demonstrations.

Requires 5+ years progressively responsible experience or 7+ years in the field, journeyman status, a valid driver’s license, and HVAC certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Journeyman status accepted by the union.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Technical school HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Inspect and test systems to verify functionality, including chillers, AHUs, rooftops, and boilers.
• Lead apprentices and provide hands-on guidance through demonstrations.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and service reports promptly.
• Participate in warranty service and educate customers on proper use and maintenance.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. The HVAC equipment you will be servicing includes but is not limited to large and small rooftop units, split systems, chillers, and boilers. The rate is subject to the amount outlined in the CBA and could change based on the level offered.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
