Job summary

American National Insulation is seeking a Journeyman to perform insulation installations and related work on local job sites in Albuquerque. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and applying insulation, sealants, and related products.

The position is safety sensitive, with local travel to job sites and a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license is needed for company vehicle use, and adherence to CBAs and safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required for operating a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation products per CBAs or project labor agreements.
• Interpret blueprints and measurements; cut and fit materials.
• Insulate, spray, plaster, seal, and fit insulation/foam materials as directed.
• Verify daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with materials, tools, and equipment.
• Complete vehicle safety and site inspections.
• Safely unload and stage materials at site.
• Report safety, customer or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Perform any other duties per CBAs as assigned.

Your Responsibilities

As a Journeyman, you will be responsible for practicing best insulation practices and training insulation, plaster, sealer and spray helpers.

• Install products as allowed by associated collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement.
• Understand blueprints and sketches. Measure, shape, and cut materials to specified measurements.
• Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue and fit insulating/sealant/foam/materials.
• Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day.
• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
• Safely unload and stage material at job site.
• Report safety, customer or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned per the CBAs.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid drivers’ license is required

Travel Requirements

Type of Travel Required: Local; Out of town travel as required.

Daily travel to job sites.

Physical Requirements

Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products. Climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing, as needed. This includes confined spaces and small areas.

Compensation Range

$22.49 - $22.49
