Job Description Position Summary Facilities Management is entrusted with the development, care, maintenance, and operation of Colorado State University’s physical properties. Our purpose is to create and sustain environments that support CSU’s land‑grant mission, fostering the success of students, faculty, and staff through world‑class academic, research, and outreach programs.
Journey Level Plumber performs the layout, installation, maintenance, and repair of water, waste/vent, storm drain, gas, and vacuum systems for new construction and remodel projects. Key duties include reading blueprints to execute material take-offs, ordering supplies, and developing labor and material estimates for project bidding and budgeting. This role is also responsible for scheduling necessary utility shutdowns and excavations, maintaining plumbing tools and equipment, and ensuring all installations strictly adhere to relevant plumbing and building codes. This position is part of the Remodel & Construction Services Plumbing Shop within Facilities.
