As a Journey Level Installer at Engebos Heating and Cooling LLC , you’ll be responsible for the professional installation of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You’ll work independently or as part of a team, ensuring all systems are installed to code, manufacturer specifications, and customer satisfaction.
- Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, and ductless units
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Perform start-ups and basic system troubleshooting post-installation
- Collaborate with other trades and project managers on job sites
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate updates to office staff
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HVAC installation
- Valid HVAC license or journeyman certification (as required by state)
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical specifications
- Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, controls, and systems
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
