Joule & SAP AI Integration Architect

Job summary

VLink Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to embed with product teams to rapidly build and integrate Joule capabilities, owning the technical build for POCs and production deployments, and connecting Joule to surrounding systems with fast iteration from business feedback.

You will work with SAP Joule, BTP, Datasphere, integration suites and AI components to deliver enterprise AI solutions, define patterns, and govern deployments across the stack.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Joule, BTP, or similar AI/copilot platforms.
• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere and enterprise data integration patterns.
• Deep understanding of LLM architecture including agentic AI, RAG/GraphRAG, Knowledge Graphs, vector databases, MCP, tool calling, evaluation frameworks and AI observability.
• Strong software engineering foundation in Python, modern enterprise app architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, DevSecOps, hyperscale platforms and distributed systems.
• Experience with SAP BTP and MCP Server concepts and architectures.
• Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments typical of forward-deployed roles.
• Strong communication skills to work with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar enterprise AI integrations is a plus.
• Experience with SAP document grounding and SAP Business Data Cloud AI use case scenarios.
• Broad, adaptable skillset spanning software engineering, data engineering and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations between Joule and SAP systems, Datasphere and third-party tools.
• Troubleshoot integration and performance issues across the Joule tech stack.
• Address AI module performance and optimize workloads.
• Define reusable engineering patterns, CI/CD standards and deployment governance.
