Location: Joseph, OR
Schedule: Part-Time (10-20 hours per month, with the ability to request additional hours based on workload or community events)
Wage: $19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Liaison Duties: Act as the primary contact between the Joseph Community Committee and the WCRRMS manager, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Community Engagement: Work with local businesses, city government, and community members to identify needs and opportunities for growth and development
- Meeting Coordination & Facilitation: Organize and facilitate Joseph Community Committee meetings, ensuring that all voices are heard, and committee strategic plan goals are advanced
- Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of Joseph Community Committee led events, ensuring they align with the goals of the Oregon Main Street program and local needs
- Volunteer Coordination: Lead efforts in volunteer recruitment and coordination for various events, programs, and activities related to community building
- Reporting and Tracking: Collaborate with the WCRRMS manager to track and report results in line with Oregon Main Street quarterly reports
- Funding Research: Work with the WCRRMS manager to research and communicate available funding opportunities to the Joseph Community Committee and local partners
- Resource Connections: Help connect the Joseph Community Committee with relevant state programs, grants, and other opportunities that can support local initiatives
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings with other community coordinators and partners, contributing to the overall success of regional initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in organizing and facilitating meetings
- Knowledge of the Joseph community and its diverse needs and values
- Familiarity with local businesses and community organizations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adjust working hours based on community events and workload
