Job summary

Timmons Group is seeking Joint Use / Telecommunications Designers to join our team in Richmond, VA. The role involves monitoring contractor work, permitting, and coordination with Joint Use partners on road and utility projects.

You will prepare pole construction/design projects, cost estimates, and handle related payments; work in both office and field settings with a dynamic pace and collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Joint Use design software preferred.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractors for quality and contract compliance on roadway and utility projects.
• Process Joint Use attachments, permits and related notifications.
• Coordinate with Joint Use partners and utility companies.
• Prepare cost estimates and related permits for pole construction/design.
• Handle payments and billing transactions.
• Maintain files of permits, surveys and rebuilds.
• Work in both office and field environments.
