Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist for Joint Replacement in Long Island, NY. You will support surgeons in robotic and manual orthopedic procedures, assist with pre-operative planning, case preparation, system setup, and real-time workflows.

You will gain hands-on experience with MakoSmartRobotics, CT planning, implant sizing, and intra-operative support while developing strong OR protocols and cross-functional collaboration. On-call coverage is required, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree with 4+ years of related experience accepted.
• High school diploma with 6+ years of related experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Support workflow for daily account coordination, inventory and logistics.
• Shadow teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, labs, and education programs.
• Build strong relationships with surgeons and OR staff.
• Manage administrative tasks related to accounts and documentation.
• Collaborate with sales to ensure seamless execution.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends and holidays.
