Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Joint Fires Simulation Operator to design, develop, and implement integration solutions across departments and with clients in a virtual environment. You will help build training scenarios and coordinate synchronization across multiple teams to support DoD missions.

The ideal candidate has experience with kinetic strike operations, Special Operations, and simulation tools, and must hold TS/SCI clearance with a high school diploma or GED.

Joint Fires Simulation Operator

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to create a technical synergy that will modernize and create efficiency in the Department of Defense (DoD)? As an integration engineer, you know the importance of ensuring that systems are working to ensure synchronization. You’re eager to apply your experience in a unique mission area to develop creative solutions in support of a client. On our team, you’ll design, develop, and implement solutions across functions or between organizations that’ll directly impact the client. You will assist in building scenarios and shape training for customers in a virtual environment. You can derive information from complex military operations and apply data to Live, Virtual, and Constructive scenarios to understand system capabilities and limitations. In this role, you’ll impact the client by ensuring integration across the organization. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing and collaborating as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

• Experience in kinetic strike operations, including planning, coordination, integration, and execution within joint and multi-domain operational environments
• Experience supporting Special Operations
• Experience with MACE, VRSG, or GRNTS
• Knowledge of Kinetic Strike and Close Air Support tactics, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to plan and execute various mission profiles to support simulated combat operations
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of air-to-surface weapons inventory with specific capabilities
• Ability to provide performance feedback to exercise participants

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
