Job summary

Leidos' Defense Sector seeks a Joint Advanced Fires Instructor/Scenario Developer to design and execute multi-domain exercises for All-Domain Operations, preparing students for CCMD assignments.

Role supports JAFQC learning objectives, with opportunities to lead intelligence product creation and exercise evaluation. Requires Top Secret/SCI eligibility and extensive military experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in commissioned officer, warrant officer, or senior NCO roles.
• Current Top Secret/SCI eligibility.
• BA/BS required; equivalent operational experience may substitute.
• At least 24 months (last 6 years) in a Joint Force HQ performing intel/target analysis.
• Familiarity with Road to War, MSELs, OPFOR campaigns, INTSUMs.
• Deep understanding of Blue/Red force capabilities and employment.
• Minimum 1 year of formal platform instruction; instructor course or willingness to attend.
• Exceptional writing and briefing skills to support scenario, intelligence, and presentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• JAFQC Scenario Development - support senior faculty with research, realistic multi-domain scenarios, and on-demand intelligence aligned to learning objectives.
• Current Operations Intelligence Updates - produce weekly OSINT and classified briefs for course faculty.
• Intelligence Product Creation - develop high-fidelity intelligence products for training, including evaluations and OPORD/OPLAN analyses.
• Exercise Evaluation Support - augment the JAFQC Evaluation Team as advisor or SME.
