- Support a client responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations
- Strengthen and integrate Department of Defense cyberspace capabilities and expertise
- Support ongoing operations within a combatant command
- Develop recommendations and courses of action to solve complex cybersecurity problems
- Coordinate network defense operations with defense, intelligence, law enforcement, and U.S. Government organizations
- Research and analyze cybersecurity capabilities to satisfy data protection requirements
- Monitor and assess network threats, attack vectors, exploitation methods, and malicious activity
- Coordinate and support cyber-related incidents and issues
- Perform mission-critical watch-standing coverage for 24/7/365 operations
- Adjust work shifts based on customer requirements and operational needs
Requirements
- 0 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or high school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience
- Flexibility to adjust shifts as needed to cover 24x7x365 operations
- Active TS/SCI/Polygraph required for consideration
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related discipline with at least 3 years of experience developing recommendations and COAs for complex cybersecurity problems
- Preferred: DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level III Certification
- Preferred: Specialized education in military joint operations planning through JIOPC or a similar civilian/military operational planning course
- Preferred: Experience coordinating network defense operations with DOD Component Commands, Services, Agencies, Field Activities, intelligence agencies, law enforcement, and U.S. Government organizations
- Preferred: Experience researching and analyzing cybersecurity capabilities to satisfy data protection requirements
- Preferred: Expertise in network threats, attack vectors, exploitation methods, web content filters, email security, IDS, IPS, SIEM, DNS security, log analysis, network monitoring, proxies, firewalls, ACLs, malware analysis reports, and malicious activity alerts
- Preferred: Experience coordinating and supporting cyber-related incidents, Malware Analysis Reports, malicious activity alerts, and Suspicious Contact Reports
