Job summary

Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Maintenance Craftsperson (Joinery) to join the Estates and Facilities Directorate across hospital sites, including Freeman Hospital. The role is Band 4 with a 37.5-hour week, focusing on joinery maintenance, repairs, and asset care.

You will interpret drawings, work to specifications, and liaise with clinical teams to ensure patient safety and infection control. A City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 joinery apprenticeship is essential.

Qualifications

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to carry out repairs.
