BetMGM LLC in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Surveillance Officer to monitor sportsbook activities using CCTV, identify suspicious behavior and ensure compliance with policies and laws. The role involves documenting incidents and coordinating with Gaming Authority as required.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of Surveillance experience and be able to testify if needed. This onsite position offers competitive hourly pay and a bonus plan eligibility, with comprehensive benefits.

• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Experience in a casino or resort setting preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate CCTV technology to monitor sportsbook activities and review footage.
• Proactively monitor sportsbook areas to promote policy compliance and deter fraud or theft.
• Document incidents with appropriate detail based on guest complaints, errors, risk, theft, or variances.
• Maintain knowledge of sportsbook rules and company procedures through ongoing training.
• Coordinate with Gaming Authority and law enforcement as needed; testify in court when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of Surveillance operations and non-public information.
• Identify trends and anomalies by data review and investigate anomalies.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance guest experience; perform other duties as requested.

You are applying to join our network of individuals with interest in this particular role with the understanding that immediate placement is not guaranteed and role availability may not presently exist.LocationCincinnati, OH (Fully Onsite)ResponsibilitiesOperate various closed-circuit television (CCTV) technology to monitor and review sportsbook activities, archive audio and video evidence and monitor the system for malfunctionsProactively monitor sportsbook areas and personnel including, but not limited to, Cage, Soft Count, Kiosks, Sports Bar to promote accountability with policies and procedures, identify suspicious activity, and deter fraud and theftProactively observe and review video then complete required documentation regarding specific incidents including but not limited to guest complaints, procedure errors, risk management issues, player evaluations, theft, and variancesMaintain and improve knowledge of sportsbook rules, company policies, procedures and threats in all areas which Surveillance is responsible for monitoring through training and professional developmentCooperate with the local Gaming Authority and coordinate with and/or assist other law enforcement agencies as necessary. Testify in court as a representative for the company as necessary. Maintain strict confidentiality of Surveillance operations and any non-public information learned as an employeeIdentify trends and abnormalities by reviewing data through various software applications and investigating anomaliesCollaborate with leadership to maximize guest experiencePerform other job-related duties as requestedQualifications1+ year of relevant experienceAt least one year of gaming and/or Surveillance experiencePrevious experience working in a similar resort settingCompensationThe hourly range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
