Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy, a Primoris Services Corporation unit, seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer for future utility-scale solar construction. You will design and review foundations, grading, roads, and erosion control, and collaborate with estimating, procurement, and field teams to ensure constructible outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 6+ years of engineering and/or construction experience preferred, ideally in solar or energy projects.
• PE license preferred.
• Knowledge of civil/structural design principles and codes.
• Experience with foundations, grading, drainage, and site development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; L-Pile experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects.
• Review engineering reports, site data, and project requirements to develop civil and structural design solutions.
• Create and review preliminary designs for foundations, grading, roads, and erosion control.
• Partner with estimating, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate and constructible project designs.
• Collaborate with clients, Engineers of Record, and project teams throughout design and construction.
• Provide technical guidance to support successful project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
