Job summary

Job Summary

The JV Softball Coach will be responsible for helping build and maintaining the girls' softball program which will include, but not limited to:

• Assist in maintaining levels of competition
• Summer camps for current and prospective players
• Along with the head coach, monitor all athletes academic progress
• Assessing player's skills and assigning positions on the team
• Under direction of the head coach, helporganize practice schedule
• Under direction of the head coach, help organizeindividual practices to provide individual and team development
• Follows team rules and goals that are shared with players and parents
• Follows established procedures in the event of an injury to an athlete
• Ensures all athletes are supervised at all times when involved with team activities
• Is a positive role model and maintains proper sportsmanship on the team at all times
• Helps, maintainan inventory of all equipment
• Attends professional development clinics/conferences specific to girls softball
