Job Summary

As a Production Welder at John Deere Paton, you will perform a variety of welding and other production operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, while supporting the production of world‑class equipment.

Responsibilities

• Weld parts and sub‑assemblies to specification using various welding processes.
• Provide production operation support as needed in areas outside of welding (assembly, paint, forklift, fabrication, etc.).
• Adjust voltage, heat, pressure, and speed to maintain quality.
• Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
• Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance.
• Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections.
• Operate power‑driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment.
• Use various types of tools and equipment to perform work – including but not limited to CNC/robotic welding equipment, safety equipment, manual arc welders, grinders, hoists, fixtures, and applicable hand and power tools.
• Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling.
• Assist and support other team members.
• Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the
