ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for patching all lifter holes that are not required for handling moving or erecting panels prior to placement in storage This role includes identifying and repairing any damage that panels may incur during production or handling Work must be completed with attention to detail to ensure all surfaces are properly finished and meet company quality and appearance standards Salary range insert amount here Based on location and experience

WHAT YOULL DO

Patch any spalls cracks or damage that panels may acquire in the process of stripping handling or loadingPatch all lifting inserts that are not required in the moving process or for erectionEnsure that finishing area is kept clean and safe for all employees to work inRemove all slurry from brick surfaces prior to panels being washedRub smear coat on all panels that require such a repairComplete all yard modifications in a timely manner as they are directed by the supervisorRemove and replace all brick that are marked by Quality Control for repairInstall any hardware required by engineering this will be shown on the panel tickets and hardware should be ready for installation

WORKING CONDITIONS

Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 50lbs occasionally and frequent bending climbing kneeling twisting squatting crawling and repetitive handarm useCapable of standing walking and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hoursComfortable working at heights using ladders scaffolding swing stages and man lifts frequentlyAbility to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazardsWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions including wet hot humid and cold weather and outdoors Dependingon locationAbility to wear all required PPE including but not limited to safety boots safety glasses hearing protection high visibility vest hard hat and other PPE as required by the task department or work areaThis profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task Employees must follow all job related instructions and duties assigned by supervisors
