Job summary

Wells is seeking a Yard Rigger in the United States to safely direct crane operations during lifting, moving and placement of precast panels. The role requires careful signaling, clear communication with the crane operator, and strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Signal crane operator during panel lifting and placement.
• Use rigging devices for transportation, storage and shipping of precast panels.
• Hook and unhook lifting cables, ring clutches and spreader bars.
• Guide cranes and stay in constant radio contact with the operator to avoid blind spots.
• Place dunnage to store panels in racks or trailers for shipping.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Yard Rigger is responsible for safely directing crane operations during the lifting moving and placement of precast panels This role uses rigging equipment communicates continuously with the crane operator and ensures panels are properly handled stored and shipped in a safe and efficient manner

WORKING CONDITIONS
