Role Description

The Job Site Superintendent is a temporary, on-site role located in Pearl Harbor HI. This position oversees daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and company standards. Responsibilities include coordinating site crews, conducting site walkthroughs, monitoring progress, and resolving field issues in real time. The superintendent maintains job site documentation, communicates updates to project managers and clients, and supports budgeting and resource planning as needed. This role also enforces safety protocols, conducts toolbox talks, and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong Construction Site Management skills, including coordinating crews, subcontractors, and daily field operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Construction Safety practices and regulatory compliance, with the ability to enforce safety procedures on site.
• Excellent Organization Skills, including maintaining accurate records, schedules, and site documentation.
• Experience with Budgeting and cost control, supporting the management of labor, materials, and equipment expenses.
• Proficient Project Management skills, including planning work, tracking milestones, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
• Relevant experience as a site superintendent or foreperson in commercial, industrial, or government construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
• Familiarity with construction management software and basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or construction-related certifications are beneficial.
• Ability to work on site in Pearl Harbor HI, for the duration of the temporary assignment and meet physical demands typical of construction environments.
