Job summary

Arc Broward is seeking a Job Readiness Coach to help adults with developmental disabilities prepare for employment. The role involves assisting with resumes, portfolios, and job applications, and supporting interview readiness to promote successful job placement.

The position requires a High School Diploma, 6 months of related experience, and the ability to travel locally in your own vehicle to multiple sites for interviews and training sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 6 months of prior work experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Valid FL driver’s license and successful Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist job seekers with resume development and portfolio development, completing job applications, and interviewing as needed to support their success.
• Prepare job seekers for on-the-job success and maintain accurate records of all activity.
• Requires independence, professional judgment, and ability to problem solve.
