Job summary

Air Tech of Houston is seeking a self-motivated Drain Technician to join our plumbing team in Houston, TX. This in-person role offers uncapped pay potential and a commission-based structure, with pay per hour plus bonuses for performance.

You will inspect residential and small commercial drains, diagnose blockages, perform cleaning and repairs, install and maintain pipes and fixtures, and educate customers on best practices. We provide benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years plumbing and drain experience preferred.
• Plumbing degree, license, or apprenticeship.
• Current plumbing certification as required by state.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment and fixtures.
• Familiarity with diagnosis and repair of residential plumbing issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose drain-related issues in residential and small commercial systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot drain problems including blockages, leaks and pipe damage.
• Use specialized tools to perform drain cleaning, unclogging and repair.
• Install, repair and maintain drain pipes, fittings and fixtures.
• Interact professionally with customers to explain plumbing concerns and solutions.
• Maintain detailed service records with before/after photos.
• Educate customers on best practices for their drain systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and attend required safety training.

What you will do:

• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose residential and small commercial plumbing systems to identify drain-related issues.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot drain problems, including blockages, leaks, and pipe damage.

Who you are:
