Job summary

Frank Gay Commercial Services, LLC seeks an experienced Lift Station Technician to join our Central Florida team. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair sewer lift stations to keep systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Lift Station Technician.
• Electrical experience is a plus.
• Must pass a drug screen, MVR and background check.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Physical dexterity.
• Clean drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Performs general preventative maintenance and repair on the sewer lift stations.
• Performs maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and components on the panels and pumps.
• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical issues.
• Performs maintenance according to assigned schedules or when directed.
• Operates manual, electrical, and gas-powered tools, including welders and meters.
• Maintains and ensures the safe operating condition of equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Performs record maintenance duties (work orders, materials and supplies utilized, cost estimates, labor, maintenance logs, fuel logs).
• Reports any detected deterioration, repair, and maintenance of lift stations.
• Backhoe and skid steer operation or similar equipment skill.
• Other duties including lift stations as assigned.

What you will do:

• Performs general preventative maintenance and repair on the sewer lift stations,
• Performs maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and components on the panels and pumps.
• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical issues.
• Performs maintenance according to assigned schedules or when directed.
• Operates standard manual, electrical, and gas-powered tools, including trade-specific tools such as welders, leak detectors, meters, gauges, and other diagnostic instruments.
• Maintains and ensures the safe operating condition of equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Performs record maintenance duties (i.e., work orders, materials and supplies utilized, cost estimates, labor required, maintenance logs, fuel logs).
• Reports any detected deterioration, repair, and maintenance of lift stations.
• Skills such as operating a backhoe, skid steer, and other related equipment.
• Also, will perform other duties including but not limited to lift stations.

You must have:
