Job summary

FlatironDragados group is seeking an IT Senior Business Analyst with deep JD Edwards EnterpriseOne expertise to plan, design, and implement systems across finance, operations, and reporting in Colorado.

You will gather requirements, support end users, prototype configurations, run tests, and deliver analysis and reports to justify recommendations within a dynamic, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1).
• Experience with JD Edwards modules: General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Multi-Currency, Job Cost, Procurement, Fixed Assets and Equipment.
• Knowledge or familiarity with SQL queries.
• Experience researching ESUs and new functionality provided by Oracle.

Responsibilities

Overview

Are you an innovative thinker with a strong background in business analysis and JDE Edwards EnterpriseOne? As an IT Senior Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of planning, designing, and implementing innovative business, financial and operational systems that enhance our core organizational functions.

Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to support critical business processes.

What you will be doing

• Works with end users to identify and resolve issues; end user assistance, business process, system configuration, user account setup and other system issues.
• Gathers and analyzes information in support of business cases, processes, improvements, proposed projects, and system requirements.
• Generates and compiles reports based on findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.
• Works with end users to define requirements and system goals, identifies and resolves system issues.
• Assists with prototyping new configurations and applications to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow.
• Prepares and delivers reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in JDE E1.
• Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of system analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
• Provides orientation and training to end user for all modified and new systems.
• Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end user reviews, for modified and new systems including post-implementation support.
• Conducts research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.

What we are looking for
