Job summary

Blaze Heating Cooling Electrical Plumbing Generators in Wilmington, NC seeks an HVAC Service Technician for evenings & weekends to maintain and repair systems and respond to service requests. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure reliable operation for customers in the area.

The role requires 2+ years of HVAC experience; Service Titan knowledge is a plus. We value strong work ethic, safety, and customer communication while offering ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC service experience.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Eligible to work in the US.
• Valid US Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
• Physical dexterity/Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Track HVAC repairs and work completed in trade software (Service Titan).
• Engage with customers to inform them of issues, solutions, and outcomes, and recommend products/services for optimal system performance.
