Job Responsibilities

• HVAC System Installation – Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential properties, including central air conditioning, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems.
• System Testing & Startup – Perform system startup procedures for newly installed systems, ensuring that all components are functioning properly and meet the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Customer Interaction – Communicate with homeowners to provide consistent, high-level customer experience and inform them about system performance and recommendations.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics – Assist with troubleshooting HVAC systems, identifying issues, and offering solutions for efficient performance.
• Blueprint & Technical Diagram Reading – Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications for proper installation of HVAC systems.
• Code Compliance – Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code, state, and local regulations for HVAC systems.
• Quality Workmanship – Complete installations with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work that meets industry standards.
• Record Keeping – Use Service Titan or other software to track repairs, installations, and maintenance services, maintaining accurate records of work performed.
• Teamwork – Work side by side with other technicians and support staff to complete HVAC installations efficiently and safely.
• Customer Satisfaction – Maintain high customer satisfaction by answering any questions or concerns and offering expert recommendations for system optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience – At least 5 years of HVAC installation experience in a residential setting.
• License – Valid Connecticut D2 license required.
• Technical Expertise – Extensive experience installing and configuring HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems.
• Service Software – Familiarity with Service Titan or similar software for tracking job details and customer interactions is a plus.
• Blueprint Interpretation – Ability to read and understand technical diagrams, blueprints, and installation manuals.
• Customer-Focused – Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Attention to Detail – A meticulous approach to installations, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
• Driver’s License – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements – Ability to lift heavy equipment, tools, and materials as needed.
