Job summary

Hospice of the West is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate, in-home end-of-life care in the Scottsdale and Cave Creek area. You will work closely with the nursing team to meet patients’ physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect and dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, ensuring comfort, documenting care activities, and supporting families during this challenging time. A valid CNA license and CPR, plus driver’s license, are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Holds current unencumbered CNA certificate/state credential.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice experience a plus.
• CPR certification may be required by state.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the patient’s care plan.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, oral hygiene, bedding, clothing).
• Deliver exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction.

Are you a caring and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact? Hospice of the West is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team, providing hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with our nursing team, you’ll ensure each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm

Coverage Area: Scottsdale and Cave Creek

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
• Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing. Your presence during these intimate moments contributes significantly to their overall comfort and dignity.
• Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction. Your dedication to providing outstanding care will be valued and celebrated as part of our team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice exp a plus!
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

$21.50 - $24.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
