Job summary

Crescent Hospice in Anderson, SC seeks a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team, providing hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. You’ll work closely with our nursing staff to ensure physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect and professionalism.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. Coverage Area: Anderson, Oconee and Pickens.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certificate in state.
• Minimum one year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice a plus.
• CPR certification if state mandated.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the plan of care to ensure comfort and well-being, attending promptly to patient and family requests.
• Assist with Personal Care: Help with bathing, oral hygiene, bedding, clothing, and grooming to maintain dignity.
• Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Deliver exceptional care and support to patients and families.
• Provide Support for Families: Guide and reassure families during challenging times.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Record details per agency standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
• Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing. Your presence during these intimate moments contributes significantly to their overall comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice exp a plus!
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
