Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Hospice team to deliver compassionate, home-based care to terminally ill patients in their homes, under physician orders.

You will work in alignment with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and St. Luke’s Hospice policies, upholding our mission of dignity, compassion, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Missouri.
• Previous nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care for terminally ill patients in the patient’s home according to physician orders.
• Act in compliance with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and hospice policies.

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse functions as a primary nurse and has accountability for providing quality nursing care for terminally ill patients in their place of residence, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with the standards of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and the policies of St. Luke's Hospice. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
