St. Luke’s Hospital in Saint Peters, MO, is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy, process specimens, and support patient registration within a fast-paced hospital lab. The role requires a National Phlebotomy Certification and a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities include specimen preparation for reference labs, lab computer system use, inventory management, and adhering to safety and departmental policies while promoting teamwork across the health care team.

Position Summary: (St. Peters, MO location)

Performs phlebotomy, processes patient specimens and performs patient registration. Utilizes Laboratory computer system. Prepares specimens to be sent to reference laboratories. Maintains department inventory and operates and maintains equipment. Performs various clerical duties. Adheres to patient identification, laboratory safety, and department policies and procedures. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

License: National Phlebotomy Certification
