Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy, process specimens, and handle patient registration on site. The role utilizes the lab computer system and prepares specimens for reference laboratories, while maintaining inventory and equipment operation.

Responsible for clerical duties and strict adherence to patient ID, safety policies, and departmental guidelines. A team-oriented candidate will thrive in our mission-driven environment in Missouri.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience and accuracy essential.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to register patients accurately and operate lab equipment.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Previous inpatient phlebotomy experience required.
