## Job Placement AssistantApply: Dale Mabry Campus: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: October 22, 2026 (20 days left to apply): JR26-877**Compensation Range:**$22.58 - $35.42**Position Summary:****Hiring compensation range:** $22.58 - $24.83 per hour depending on qualifications.**Job Summary:**Assists the Career Center Manager by supporting the day-to-day operations and goals of the Career Resource Center (CRC) including, but not limited to: assists, counsels, and instructs college students, alumni, and the public in all matters relating to career development.**Job Duties:*** Assists, counsels and instructs College students and alumni in all matters relating to employment.* Develops job opportunities and contacts for students and alumni with employers in Hillsborough County.* Assists the Career Center Manager by supporting the day to day operations and goals of the Career Resource Center (CRC).* Assists, counsels, and instructs college students, alumni, and the public in all matters relating to career development.* Delivers workshop presentations on various career related topics including resumes, interview preparation, job search, and more.* Helps maintain the CRC’s active presence on various social media platforms.* Aid in monitoring and rotating CRC announcements on college webpages and posting areas.* Conducts outreach with employers and college departments to provide outstanding career services.* Meets with students one-on-one and/or in groups to provide feedback on career development strategies.* Assist with the operation of the Career Ready Closet.* Helps facilitate CRC events including job and career fairs.* This position will be required to work some evenings and weekends.**Minimum Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree and* One year of prior-related work experience.* *The position requires at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.* **Preferred Qualifications:*** An awarded Bachelor’s degree,* Experience as an academic advisor in higher education,* Strong presentation skills,* Experience in job search techniques such as resume’ writing, and* Strong computer skills.**Closing Date:** October 22, 2026.
