The Granite Falls School District is seeking an ELEMENTARY TEACHER for grades K-2 as a one-year, non-continuing leave replacement. This 1.0 FTE on-site position begins around 11/05/2026 and ends around 3/14/2027, with possible early start. Mountain Way Elementary will host the assignment.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver standards-based instruction, assess student progress, maintain classroom management, and collaborate with families and staff to support student achievement.

Contract Details: This posting is for one(1), non-continuing, leave replacement, 1.0 FTE certificated teacher. This assignment begins approximately on 11/5/26 and ends approximately March 14, 2027. This assignment could start up to two weeks early and would adjust the end date of the assignment.This position requires on-site work, working remotely is not an option.Any anticipated overtime requires prior approvaland this position does not accrue comp-time.

TEACHER - The responsibilities of this position are to establish, plan, develop and prepare learning objectives and standards for assigned academic and enrichment subject areas and grade levels, to teach and instruct students, to promote student achievement, to provide guidance, counsel, supervision and discipline to students, and to assess and evaluate student performance and progress to enhance effective learning.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:Reports to building Principal.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Exposed to diseases carried by students; exposed to student noise levels; and other environmental conditions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree and valid teacher's certification; some positions require specific endorsements as specified by the state; some positions may require academic preparation or professional experience in specific fields; some positions require current CPR and first aid cards.
