Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) invites applicants to join our Job Fair Applicant program as part of an entry-level training track focused on developing sales and customer interaction skills within a nationwide electrical distributor network. Based in Kearney, Nebraska, the program blends classroom learning with hands-on rotations across warehouse and office environments, with travel as needed.

Summary:

CED is a privately held, nationwide electrical distributor with over 800 locations in the US. Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree--will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree for some opportunities.

• Current, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• Able to use a smartphone, computer, and tablet with relevant applications.

• Native or bilingual proficiency in English (written & spoken)

• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented

• Able to solve problems

• Be a self-starter who can handle a heavy volume of work and be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on the trainee's current segment of the training and will include warehouse, office and external environments. During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office segments may include sitting for extended periods. Various segments will include some travel - by car.
